I grew up in a suburban town in Michigan, where I had to keep myself busy by writing music and singing with my friends. I attended school in Boston at Berklee College of Music, where I sang with an a capella group and played in various bands. Now, I'm living in Memphis, the first city I've ever really loved. I play in a band, write songs, sing, volunteer around town, write and help run The Lapel Project. I'm extremely interested in community building, specifically among entrepreneurs and women. I'm always up for a songwriting opportunity or collaboration, and love applying my creativity to challenges outside of the arts.
